Engagement Photo Session at Black Sands Beach in Marin, California

I knew going into this engagement photo session, that it was going to be special. Calli and Caleb have such an amazing story, so I knew their love would be so easy to capture. It was truly and honor to take their engagement photos, and I genuinely hope you can feel the love in these!

Black sands beach photo sessions are a bit rare and tricky because it’s quite a steep and long hike down to the beach, but C + C were up to it, and of course I was too! There’s definitely a benefit because it’s not as crowded as some beaches in the Bay Area! We were fortunate enough to have the most beautiful, sunny day in mid November! It was one to remember for sure! We started the engagement photo session a bit early to get that full sun look, which was so fun! And we ended the session at the start of golden hour. Not your standard time of day, but this gallery gives you an idea of what your photos will look like during a mid-day shoot!

Anyway, I don’t like to yap too much in these blogs, because it’s all about the photos! Just want to say, Calli and Caleb have the sweetest love for each other and I wish them both the absolute best! Go ahead, scroll on through and see for yourself!

"Rose is a delight to work with! She had a variety of location options for us to choose from and helped my husband and I feel comfortable during our session. Us feeling natural led to beautiful, natural photos. We have worked with Rose on multiple sessions and will continue to in the future!"
